Born as a steelworkers son in Pittsburgh, PA, Joseph (Dr. Joe) Kiesel was always raised to be an achiever in Christ with whatever he attempted in his life. His dad as a World War II Hero used to say to him," You're a chip off the old block, always go for it at the highest level of effort." That he did and it is evident by his many note worthy accomplishments. Being always the athletic/scholar type, he went on to be a great high school, college and professional football player and achieved greatly in the classroom as well. He has done it all in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. "With God all things are possible." He became a weight training and fitness buff at an early age with his dad's influence again.
At 69 years old he now is looking forward to the proverbial, "The best is yet to come" in his theological work and professional career: Involving millions of people who can benefit greatly from his "Brains and Brawn" Life for Christ. He has a 4.0 from Oral Roberts University in Theology acquiring the Master of Divinity degree. He is a Christian and example for people of all ages indulging in athletics and academics. Dr. Joe has too many achievements to mention, this brief summary does not come close to giving justice to all his achievements he has accomplished. Dr Joe is currently working on his autobiography coming out late next year! Dr. Joe's life mission is to spread awareness, light and truth about Jesus Christ!
Dr. Joe's professional and scholastic accomplishments go far beyond the theological, and at the ripe old age of 67, God is using all of his experience to further His apocalyptic word.
He is the historically highest honored graduate/scholar of Oral Roberts University (4.0 GPA, 97% average), he is the former Chairman of Sports Medicine at the Olympic Graduate School-The United States Sports Academy- and it's co-director of the Human Performance Laboratory. He is a historic member of the President's council on Physical Fitness and sports under nine US Presidents- some 40 years; and knew President Gerald Ford personally. Dr. Joe has been academically/professionally affiliated with 7 Universities at the undergraduate and graduate levels. His professional specialties are Sports Medicine/Orthopedics, Bio-mechanical Sports Training and Conditioning; the social sciences including history, political science, Geo-science, astronomy and economics; and has taken seven degree programs; and is certified and licensed in 5 states.
Dr. Joe has many honors including: The Taxi Research Society, The New York Academy of Science, Gamma Beta Phi Academic Honors Society, Cambridge Who's Who, Templeton Honor Roll Educational Nobel Prize-Textbook Division, Outstanding Young Man in America-US Jaycees and others.
Dr. Joe is also one of the World's Great Athlete/Sports/Personal Trainers and was one of the first strength coaches with Jon Kolb for the Pittsburgh Steelers and at Penn State University with coach Jerry Sandusky, he also was an assistant football coach at P.S.U. for coach Joe Paterno while doing his doctoral work.
You can catch Dr. Joe on the internet lifting 720 pounds or running a 4.5 second forty yard dash at 67 which makes him the "Modern day Samson."
